February 8, 2018: The National Basketball League of Canada has rescheduled two snowed-out dates this week for the following dates: The February 8, 2018 game (Island Storm at London Lightning) will be played on April 1, 2018 at Budweiser Gardens, London, Ont.  The February 9, 2018 game (Island Storm at Windsor Express) will be played on March 14, 2018 at WFCU Centre, Windsor, Ont.

January 12, 2018: The National Basketball League of Canada appeal panel has ruled to suspend Joel Friesen-Latty of the London Lightning for one game for his actions that led to a scrum of players which came too close to fans sitting court side in a game on January 3rd that resulted in a disqualifying foul. His suspension will be served on London's next game, January 13 and he will also be assessed a fine.  The Niagara River Lions have opted to withdraw their appeal for player Omar Strong, who served the second of his two-game suspension on January 12th.
