The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Chris Jones of the Windsor Express has been named NBL Canada Player of the Week for the week ending March 10, 2019.
Jones, a 6'0" point guard who played collegiately at Louisville, scored a week-high 38 points for the Express in a 137-124 victory over Halifax. In the win, Jones was a perfect 13-for-13 from the free throw line, and averaged .600 (3-for-5) from 3-point range.
The National Basketball League of Canada is also pleased to announce that Yohanny Dalembert of the Sudbury Five has been named NBL Canada Player of the Week for the week ending March 10, 2019.
Dalembert, a 6'8" forward who played collegiately at James Madison University, had the best numbers on defence for the week; he dominated on the glass with 12 rebounds, and blocked a week-high five shots.
