Jamal Reynolds Named Sixth Man of the Year

The National Basketball League of Canada is pleased to announce that Jamal Reynolds of the Cape Breton Highlanders has been named Sixth Man of the Year.

Reynolds, a 6'5" forward from Toronto, Ontario was the second leading scorer on the Highlanders in 40 games played averaging 17.9 points per game on 53.1% field goal shooting. Also, the two-time Canadian Player of the Week led the NBLC in total rebounds this season with 360. 

"Jamal winning the Sixth Man of the Year is a true testament to Jamal's work ethic and character", said Team President Tyrone Levingston. "In two seasons with the Highlanders I only know Jamal as a great kid with a tremendous work ethic, and the spirit to work for what he wants. Never complains about anything and is always ready when his name is called."
